Workshop on “Telling Your Story” now available - The Arc of Minnesota Civic Engagement team has developed a PowerPoint presentation and workshop to assist individuals with disabilities and their families in telling their stories. The workshop has an informational component paired with the opportunity to begin crafting individual stories and can be tailored to meet the needs of any group. For example, the workshop can be modified to be a “train the trainer” model for an organization’s volunteers and staff, or materials can be provided for making posters to bring to the Capitol for those who are nonverbal or prefer an alternate activity.
